air bag light

i have a 03 impala and the air bag light has come on. It went off for a few days but has returned. It seems to come on after the car has been running for about four minutes . Any ideas? Thanks

It has to be scanned with scanner that can access SIR codes, for a proper diagnosis.

i have the same problem my 2000 has the airbag on driver seat if that is the case there is a connector under seat for air bag try wiggling it even if its connected if loose will cause light to turn on move connector and light should go away.....
