According to F1-Live.com the FIA recieved information contrary to the turned in info by the Brazil time keepers. It shows Fisi had began his 56th lap befrore the race was stopped, this would rquire the classifications to be that of the end of the 54th lap instead of the 53rd as determined Sunday. Of course a meeting will be held April 11 to review this.

I'm not sure what my opinion is. I would absolutely love Fisico to get the win as he deserved it. But at the same time I don't want Eddie Jordan to get the win as I don't like him. But we'll see.

Jordan 200th GP, what a reward that'll b. Im a big kimi fan, but it would be nice to see fisi get the full 10 points.

Why the hell did it take them so long to figure this out?
I don't think the win will mean anything now, if it is awarded, aside from some points and the record, since he won't get to bask in the glory of the top step of the podium...... They should have checked this on Sunday before declaring Kimi the winner, instead of having put Fisichella through the disappointment they did, it's too late now.....

On the other hand what is this new evidence. Surely the timing system would have told the true story on the day? Or do we have to review every race result a week later now

Just thought, if results are taken on lap 54 didn't Alonso pit that lap? Therefore Coulthard will move up to third. Seeing as he should have won it, that is a good thing.

If you ask me, the whole thing is getting very confusing......
If the race was stopped on lap 55, but Fisi had begun his 56th lap, they don't take it according to the completed laps then? If they take it on the completed lap, surely the result will stand, but if they take it on the lap the race leader is on, it means most of the field were considered a lap down......and then we revert back to the time keeping question..... It amazes me too that, Webber's wreck stopped the race but he can still be placed and receive points

It is about time that those Brazilians get their act together when organizing an F-1 event!
Remember the year that those commercials panels came down. FIA does drop a venue like Spa for some cigarette reasons (I can still see the logo's when I watch TV, right?) but does keep on working with a bunch of amateurs. No longer worth organizing a top event those guys overthere. This is getting ridiculous. After all the controversy over rules, tyres etc. we can surely miss something like this. Not that I don't want Fisi to take the points, Kimi will only loose 2, but you get the point. |

Wow, I guess the FIA has found a new rule somewhere...
I like that track a lot, I like the layout and the hills, but they should fix all those problems and also fix those bumps allready! |

I kind of hope Fisichella gets that win. I was happy to see that he won even though it only lasted a couple of minutes. Its to bad that if he gets the win it will only bring Kimi down 2 points.
