2001 vdc

Hi i;m looking at a 2001 outback vdc with the h6 3.0 with 155k miles. I was wondering if there were any common problems with these. and what octanegas does it need and is 5000 a good price for it?

Re: 2001 vdc

Nothing major, just oil leaks mostly. The headgaskets weren't near as prone to leaking on the H6 as the 4cyls were. As long as it was decently maintained it should be a pretty good vehicle. It may need suspension work depending on how it was driven. I'm not sure how much it should be worth though. Hit up kelly bluebook.
