1993 LeSabre Heat blows cold on driver's side
This is a problem that I have been having for a while. When I turn the heat on the driver's side always comes out cooler than the pasanger side, this is the case whether on defrost or heat mode. Any ideas why this?
Thank you all. |

Re: 1993 LeSabre Heat blows cold on driver's side
Might not apply to your '93, but on my '04 with separately adjustable driver and passenger side temperature, there is an actuator control that adjusts the hot/cold air mix for each side. It does this by moving a "door" that controls the amount of air flowing though the heater and A/C cores. Perhaps this actuator is not working, or the door it controls is stuck.

If so you may be able to readjust the lower actuator arm out of the programmer where it snaps onto the white plastic link that moves the door inside the heater box. |
