92 digital cluster

I have a 92 s10 blazer (vin w), my fuel, temp, battery, oil and tach gauges don't work, everything else on the digital cluster works. is there a fuse or some thing i need to check or do i have to replace the cluster?

Yes with ign on check fuse no 4 for power in and out.
Also test other fuses when there.
Let us know if the fuse does it.

Re: 92 digital cluster

ok ,checked all fuses, the # 4 fuse ( Inst. Lps. 5amp) has no power on either side, pulled fuse and is not blown. All other fuses checked ok 12 v on both sides.

Check fuse box on back side.
And wiring going to it.
It should have power ign on.

Re: 92 digital cluster

Insturment lights feed power off head light switch.
Fuse 4 should be gauge fuse.
Are your fuses labeled?
The ign switch pnk wire feeds EMC1 fuse and turn and bu lights fuse and gauges fuses.
Does these 3 all have ign power to them?

Re: 92 digital cluster

every thing looks ok on the back side. that fuse is in the ground circuit. gry wire plugged into the front of the fuse block and grn wire off the back. the 20 amp fuse (Ing.-Gages) fuse has power in/out. do the wires go through the fire wall or just up to the cluster. and does anyone know the easy way to take the Int panal out.

yes they have power, all fuses have power with the ign on except the Inst. Lps (5amp) and the crank(3amp).

Pull the cluster out.
It should unplug itself when pulled back.

I think the cluster plugs into a wiring harness fixed plug in.

No
Some are dash lights and some are idiot lights.
When you unplug dash plug it back in and see if gauges work.

Did the gauges all quit at one time.
Was any repairs done or electrical work done before gauges quit?
The main thing to check is for gauge power from fuse to dash and dash ground to engine or body.

You need to get a good wiring diagram to check power and grounds and feeds to dash.

Re: 92 digital cluster

I dont know if any electrical work has been done to the dash, it was like this when I bought the truck. After plugging it back in, same thing, everything works but the fuel, tach, bat, temp, and oil pressure. Is there anywhere on the net to get a good diagram?
