1996 200sx 1.6, i need mod info~!!
Hey guys i just got my 1st nissan!
Its a 1996 200sx 1.6 6speed. I was a honda guy, so i dont know how good mods go on the car, so could i get some help? I know its 115hp...but thats about it..lol Right now i have a cat-back exhaust and an ebay intake...my basic questions are as follows... 1: On intake, there is a place for 2 O2 sensors(stock) but on the aftermaket, there is only 1 place for a sensor...so one isnt hooked up and my check engine light is on...is there a way/trink to buypass that sensor! 2: I know with hondas alotta mods are interchangeable, like u can swap intake manifolds for more hp, is this possible with my nissan? What about other (new)bolt on mods, how does this thing respond to them? headers, or underpulleys? anything noticeble and worth upgradeing for performance? The car right now seems to have some power, but it feels like it needs to be set free! help me out tyvm!

there isnt too much you can do to this motor with bolt ons. try and find a hotshot turbo kit for the 1.6 and it should net you around 220whp. here is a local 1.6 that was built from the ground up.
