30 PICT-2 carb
will a 30 PICT-2 carb work with a 73 1600cc/actual 1584cc/96.7 c.i. engine? It has the 34 PICT-3 on it now.

The 34 is overkill and a waste of gas, unless the intake and exhaust system are modified to allow for the increased air/fuel flow. I had a 30 on my '69 with a 1600, and it would flat scoot. Ran at 75-80 no problem, and actually accelerated going up hills in 4th. |
