Re: Tamiya Honda S2000

The rims are a huge improvement over the standard kit finish. I also really like the black detailing on the white body, it's a nice contrast.

Looking good and nice to see a new project from you. Maybe cf on the black parts would set it off a little? Keep us posted.

Re: Tamiya Honda S2000

I like the progress you're making. Looks like you've got a nice shine on your paintjob. The interior, particularly the seats, look a little too shiny in my opinion. The rims look miles better than the stock gold too and much more realistic. Is that purple stuff on the rear lights liquid masking? May I ask what brand you use? Also how easy is it to work with? I'm looking into buying some but am worried about paint leaking underneath or even eating away at it!

The only thing I can do is to copy your post and paste it under my nick :-D

Love paint job and color combo too....
Rims looks perfect...
Honda logo on the hood is great...
Interior looks awesome, maybe too glossy...

Wishieftrottle, Kevhw, its humbrol maskol, very handy for masking difficult shapes. Normally i mask off with tape but this thing comes in handy sometimes.

You can use a brush to apply and when dry, you can paint the thing you want to paint. Afterwards it just peels away like sillicone...

Only thing is that it smells really bad
