ok so heres the deal...
99 z24 2.4 4spd auto ![]() car died the other day turned out the crank sensor was shot so i replaced it ran fine for a few days then the cooling fan stopped working i jumped the fan on the battery and poof it works now i have worse issues check eng light came back on system too lean i figured maybe it was just bad gas so i cleared it to see if it would come back now the check eng , break, abs lights are on and it feels like the transmission is stuck in 2nd gear doin 40mph at like 4500 rpms butifi let off the gas the rpms drop what thehell is goin on with this thing ive got 3codes ( shift control A shift control B and manufacturer transmission) so ok but why theabs and break light i do know that the ETS runs off the abs so whatever so i went to check the trans level and when i pulled the check plug is spayed out like hell overful? or to circulating properly? is my transmission shot? or electrical? anyone heard of this? please help!!!! thank you |

Sounds like all the problems are unrelated. I'm usually pretty creative, but I can't think of a way to link them all together.
If the fluid was dirty/burnt, have the fluid flushed and see if that fixes the problem. I've seen this problem on two different vehicles and a flush "fixed" them both. Just incase you didn't know, the car has to be running to check the fluid, otherwise the fluid is higher and will run out. If you had enough pressure that it did actually spray out, check the vent/fill cap to be sure the vent isn't blocked.

hey so i found out what was wrong it was all connected to 1 freakin wire everything in this motor and trans is all linked somehow from the breaks (abs) trac control transmission so i found a bad fuse replaced it and it popped ok so i traced every wire linked to anything with a problem fixed the wire replaced the fuse and wow its fine!!!!!! im sorry but the 2.4l w 4speed (sealed) auto trans is one retarded set up!!!!!!!!!!
