Seat Belt Differences

I was cleaning out my civic on friday last week, when I noticed that all of the rear seats have lap belts not ones which go over your shoulder, my 1990 had the shoulder ones,

did they change the setup in 1990? Oh and another thing, I found out that my civic was one made in Japan, my godfather who gave it too me said that the people in the Honda garage where he took it always commented on it being from Japan.

I know.. I totally wasn't being a dick either, it just makes it a lot more surfing friendly, you know what I mean?!

I know.. Some people feel the urge to sqeeze their whole life stories (and pics of it) into their signatures.. But those are the kind of people who would also have an internet webboard induced shit-fit if someone told them that all that info is more than nessicary too.

Thanks!
Sorry, I know nothing aboot seatbelts though.
