MotoGP rain/cold weather stuffs

Hello Everybody,

I would like to ask what do you think about my latest project. It is resin rain tyre for Tamiya MotoGP bikes. It is Michelin but Bridgestone is also in the project list.
If everything goes well it will go to production next week.

Thank you for your feedbacks

Re: MotoGP rain tyre

Looks great!
The day I'll decide to build the first bike kit I'll get a set of these instead of the boring slicks!

The tires look awesome though, more interested in 1/24 wheels. Altough i think expanding your company into the 1/12 scale is a great idea. Good luck.

Re: MotoGP rain tyre

Hi,

looks good, I guess, the center parts of the wheels must be sanded away

Maybe another hint: How about Moto-GP tires with tire-warmers ?

Yes you have to cut the center ring

Thanks for the tip, good idea but warmer have to be very very thin as there is very small space between the fender and the wheels

Re: MotoGP rain tyre

Looks super Geronimo! Another hole in aftermarket detailing filled!! How much will they cost?
I too would like the tire warmer set up! As most bikes are on the stand it would make a perfect grid diorama.

Re: MotoGP rain tyre

Hi brother,

Are the tires in soft compound like the tamiya tires or hard like normal resin??
I am certainly interested in this pieces.
Looking forward to your products!

Re: MotoGP rain tyre

Hi Gergo,

as you know I'm a big fan of the tyres and can't wait to get my sets.

Looking forward to it.

PS: I've sent you an e-mail about the tyres.

Best regards

David

GREAT geronimo!
I'm begging for rubbers when it goes to production yet I know the cost is tremendous....

Looks awesome! I don't build bikes but those are some of the coolest parts I've seen in a long time!

Hello everybody

Thank you. Silicon molds are just drying so i can start production very soon
It will be normal resin. Rubber things are quite difficult are to produce at a garage level, where my business is at this moment

MotoGP rain and cold weather stuffs

If it is not only raining but also the weather is cold, you might need to change the carbon discs to this:
