'91 Trooper, is there an eng. larger than the 2.8L V6 original that will interchange.

I would like to replace the engine in my '91 Isuzu Trooper which is presently a 2.8L V6. Is there a larger displacement engine that will drop in with little or no major changes having to be made?

The easiest swap is a GM 3.4 out of an early 90's Camaro or firebird, but it is not a "drop-in"
