Exclamation Plugs and Wires

I want to replace my spark plugs and wires as part of preventative maintenance on my 2001 Grand Prix GT 3.8. It has 111000 miles with no problems as of now,(knock on wood)! I purchased Bosch platinum plugs and wires, but after reading how bad Bosch was, i decided to go with AC Delco 41-101 Iridiums. I managed to return the wires back to Autozone! Anyway my questions are, what wires should i purchase? My car still has the orginal Delphi wires on it. I see Delphi wires online for @$32. Are they real? Or should I go to dealership and spend $$ for AC Delco wires? Any reccomendation for wires is appreciated.
What about the plugs , do I gap these? Other posters on this sight have mentioned its not a good idea to mess with these plugs. If so, what would be the gap setting? Thanks again.

Joe

Re: Plugs and Wires

my 1st advise is stay away from autozone.that being said delphi are made by acdelco and are just fine. i have had alot of luck with napa premium wires and the propere plug gap should be on a lablle under your hood. or i am sure a autoparts store can look it up.
hope i helped

Re: Plugs and Wires

Thankyou for your help. I will check the label under the hood. I will probably go with Delphi wires since that is what is on there now. Thanks again.
