2007 Ball Joints

During a DMV safety inspection I was told that my 2007 GT ball joints are bad. I only have 18k on it and do not drive it hard. Is it possible for them to ware out that fast?

Re: 2007 Ball Joints

My response would be "I'm from Missouri, show me." They should be able to demonstrate to you that they are indeed bad - it's pretty easy to show. Sounds a bit fishy to me and you should still be under warranty, right?
