2002 - Front power windows do not work
I have a 2002 Limited Lesabre. Both front power windows have quit working on me. The rear windows work fine and I can also operate the rear windows from the driver control panel. But the front windows do not work at all and I have also tried the passenger control button and that also fails to work.
I have checked the fuses under the hood, did not find any related to power windows, and I also checked them under the seat and I did swap the power seat and power window circuit breaker to no avail. Where should I look? Any specific fuses to check? Also, its not the regulator, I have replaced two of those now and know the symptoms of those. Thanks |

Re: 2002 - Front power windows do not work
Today I got into my car and all of the power windows work, but not I have a BRAKE, ABS and TRACTION OFF light on. I checked the brake fluid and its only about 1/2" below the max line. What is going on?

Re: 2002 - Front power windows do not work
The power window regulators are probably shot. They go out every few years. I get mine from an eBay seller for around $50 each shipped. The stealership will charge you much, much more. Not sure what is going on with the brakes.

Re: 2002 - Front power windows do not work
I ended up going to the dealer and I had a loose connection at the USBC computer that was causing all sorts of things to short out in my car.
As my posted stated, I knew it wasn't a regulator, symptoms did not even come close for that. |
