93 Accord Lx Coupe Tranny problems

Yesterday It started staying in 3rd. It wasn't until I saw the D4 light on when I went to park that I thought of an old thread here. Shut it down and when I turned the key on without starting it and tried to go from Park to drive without using the brake it did. Went by Pick a Part and found a TCM from another 93(a 4door). Installed it and that fixed the shift problems. It actually shifts a bit earlier than it did before. Same part number on the replacement TCM.

Problem I'm having is at cruise speed above 55 when the torque converter locks up. Once it does and I feather the gas to control speed at say 60, it unlocks(or seems like it) and the tach goes up 300rpm. If I give it just a bit of gas it locks back up and tach drops 300rpm.

Any thoughts?
I dont have any pressure testing equipment to test the tranny at this time.

Thanks,
Richard
