Re: tune up parts
On NGK plugs the higher the number versus stock the colder. For example TR5 and TR55 are the stock range. So do you plan on running 2 or 3 ranges colder with the 3.25" SC pulley? What other supporting mods do you have? MSD ignition wires are nice but not necessary.

Re: tune up parts
I'm with bob on the supporting mods for the 3.25" pulley. You need a whole lot more than just colder plugs to run that pulley.

Re: tune up parts
All KR, oops I mean All Power, tell me you at least have a tuned PCM and some exhaust headers to go with the 3.25" pulley.

Re: tune up parts
I see visions of big time KR.
You do not use a 3.25" SC pulley unless you have supporting mods or have run a check for knock retard (KR) before and after the mod.

Re: tune up parts
Bob, I spent about 3 hours last night tuning my GTP with the powertuner, and I'm happy to report that I have 0KR cruising, light accelleration, and WOT!!!
Wasted a half tank of gas though!

Re: tune up parts
no headers/the car is all stock and a daily driver so if i have any work done its got to be done that day...... a couple guys have told me that i should be able to get atleast 310hp w/o rebuilding the motor? they told me that if i get 180 t-stat/2 range colder plugs/wires/c.a.i/pcm from tharsher not 3800 performce. but the problem is i dont know what up grades to tell them/and headers are some damn $$$$$$$ its seems i would be better of keeping the stock one on there? and new pipes are a must i do know that....but im also new at this grand prix thing. im used to the old school ones.... let me ask you guys this for me to get 310hp and it still to be a daily driver what do i need?????????![]() ![]()

Re: tune up parts
310 crank HP? Pretty close to what I got for MODS.
310 wheel HP? A pretty deep pocket.
