My 96 eclipse problem. help PLEASE!
ok i have a 1996 eclipse given to me by a friend.he was driving one day and it just cut out on him.he started it a few more times then it just quit completely.I got it and took the valve cover off because the seal was bad and noticed that 2 of the seals around the plugs were bad and oil had spilled over into the plugs.so i replaced the seals,plugs,wires,changed the oil, and got a new battery.And it still wont start.its trying hard to turn over, every so often it sounds like its gonna.
So i was wondering if anyone had a suggestion.and if he ran it out of gas which may have happened, what would i need to do to fix that if anything.any feedback would help. Thank You!

ok i checked the plugs they look good.i sprayed starter fluid in the intake and it started for 2-5 secs each time.any clue anyone?

The only time I had a problem with my eclipse not turning over is when I flooded the spark plugs as well. Did you replace all the plugs?

yea they are all brand new.now im looking at a fuel pump or filter
