2002 Tracker Dome Light problem

The dome light on my 2002 Tracker won't shut off automatically.
I'vee checked all of the door switches.
Local chev dealer has no clue they guessed the daytime running light module was bad at a cost of $300
Is there a relay or sensor for it and where is it located?
Any help appreciated.

Re: 2002 Tracker Dome Light problem

No clue if this was ever fixed. My guess is there is either a pinched ground wire or some aftermarket equipment was added placing a ground on one side of the light. Some probing with an ohm meter would be helpful here.
