97 Taurus 3.0L AC compressor pulley seized
97 Taurus 3.0L AC compressor pulley seized and broke serpetine belt. Anyone know of a shorter belt size that can be routed to bypass compressor? Thanks, Doug

I have 2001 Taurus 3.0L Vulcan, I had the same problem and I found a way to bypass the AC compressor pulley with a belt of 66.5 inches eff.length (DAYCO p/n 5060665. It seems to me that this should work on 97 as well, because the OEM full-length belts on these models are compatible...
