3.1 Request

3.1 disconnected the forward bolts per spec, relocated the throttle body connections, swayed the car forward and back, the engine does move forward and back by about 6 inches and stops. I was looking at the steering lines and the HP hose is metal down to the rubber boot, not sure if this is what is causing the engine to not move forward, or something else i might be missing.

Ultimate goal is to repace the wires and plugs in the back.

Re: 3.1 Request

You know you have to move it forward and insert a bolt into a different position on the dogbone in order to hold it forward, right?

Re: 3.1 Request

I had a good solid screwdriver ready to catch it, the bolts were in the tray getting new grease.

I don't want to force the engine forward, i might just take the few inches i get and block it off, then use an extender.

I hoped that these 3.1's were closer to spec on repairs, but i guess i'll take a guess.

Opinions are welcome.
