90 Olds 88 A/C oil
I have a 90 olds 88 and we are upgrading the A/C to 134 but when we replaced the old accumulator there was no oil left in it. Anyone know what the proper amount of oil is to put in the new A/C Accumulator? Oh and any idea where the Fixed Orifice tube is? Help me I am clueless. |

Ok clueless doing ac work, not a good sign. Measure what comes out the accumulator and see what you need to replace it. The Orifice is in the hp line where it down sizes at the coupling.

Re: 90 Olds 88 A/C oil
Thanks for the orifice info but as I stated earlier when we removed the old accumulator there was NO oil inside so that is why I am not sure of the amount.

Re: 90 Olds 88 A/C oil
If nothing was in the accumulator then you do not need to add any.
