2000 olds alero

can someone please help....i have a 2000 olds alero i love the car, my problem is... as im driving without notice it shuts down, it will restart after sitting awhile, and runs great. no engine lights are on. i am scared to use it now.this began two weeks ago and since i have changed the fuel filter, im getting mixed reviews from local people of what may be the problem, i dont have the money to try everything. hopefully someone has had or heard of this happening

i really hope the problem is solved, and i dont need a fuel pump. my brother changed the coils and i drove the car for an hour, the performance was great. the ride today was the furthest i took the car since my problem began, and it did not shut down, so im keeping my fingers crossed on this one. i really dislike the guessing game when it comes to cars.....

hopefully that takes care of it. if your alero is anything like mine, lack of full power can cause some weird issues. Hopefully the coils did solve the problem
