Ford Econoline

This project I started a while back, but never really got around to doing much more. I am getting ready to get back to work on this one shortly.
Here is the rendering that inspired me

Here is what I have done to it so far
Fully shaved and I have the 56 Ford grille in place

In primer stage at the moment

Re: Ford Econoline

That reference pic is awesome. I wish you luck, what kit is that? Are you going for the same paint scheme.

Thank you. The kit is the AMT Cuckoo Nest van. I got it at a show for 20 bucks. The paint scheme will be similar to this. But I want to lay this one on the ground. I do have different rims and tires for this that are almost an exact match.

Re: Ford Econoline

Kewl! I have a bunch of parts leftover from my RV project, and had already begun the process of redoing an Econoline. My concept is to make an E-612 by stuffing the entire drivetrain from the Ferrari 612 under the Van body. Ground effects, wild paint job on the body and the whole 612 interior will finish it out. Only thing is, having spend so many years on that damn RV, I'm in no hurry to put myself on another "Gotta-Do-It-Now" project.

I'll be watching this thread.
