Very clean build ...looks great!

I've been trying to finish a conversion of this kit to the '91 S2 I had and the headlights have been worrying me as far as them actually working "as advertised". Good to see they do from your build!

Thank you Fox for the comments... Did the 91 model had the lights like the 928???, if so, it will be a very interesting conversion work; share images of your's.

Re: Porsche 944 Turbo 1/24 Hasegawa

The 91 lights are identical to all 944's. This was the last year 944's were built before the 968. The rear wing was a 968 one as was the 3.0 liter engine. Otherwise, the body was identical to the turbos. This kit was a perfect candidate with the identical turbo body. I had the Hasegawa 968 for a donor, but didn't want to use the parts as I thought at the time I might find a 1:1 968, so I casted the 968 engine in resin and scratch built the rear wing. I'll post a thread if I ever complete that one.

BTW, the tan interior on yours is what I always wanted in my 944's, but black was all I ever got. I had five 924/944's .. all bought used with around 15k miles .. such GREAT everyday drivers.. come sun or snow.

I did just post some pics of the 1987 944 I built form the lesser Testors kit in the Porsche Meet gallery.

Again, great job on this .. everything is so clean and sharp!

Thank you very much, Tight! About two or three years ago, Revell AG still had it in its catalog, it is the same mould, I think it is not difficult to find it.

Re: Porsche 944 Turbo 1/24 Hasegawa

Excellent looking model.
As the other already mentioned, a very clean build. Paintjob looks great and I like the subtle detailing in the engine bay.

Personally I would leave the engine bay as it is right now. Factory fresh. But on the other hand, if you don't like it you can always close the hood...

Squeaky clean build! well done A subtle panel line wash would just lift this model a little bit more.
