Adding steering wheel radio controls on 09

I just bought a 2009 chevy silverado which has the cruise control mounted on the steering wheel but does not have the radio controls on the steering wheel.

Does anyone know if Chevy puts in a wire harness that includes all options even if not all options have been installed?

I'm wondering if the connections to add steering wheel radio controls are in place... even though the truck was not delivered with this option.

Could a dealer add this feature on to my truck?

NO probably not, you would have a different steering column, may have the same dash harness I don't know for sure, I am pretty sure the radio has to be set up for it too, via the bcm with the tech 2.
talk to the dealer about it, I worked at the dealer, but to be honest this never came up.
