engines that will fit a 2000 crown vic p71

I have a 2000 crown vic p71 and I need to replace the engine in it. Can anyone tell me what year crown vics will fit this and where I can find an enigne conversion chart that will give me all the years for reference. Thanks and have a nice day. This is the 4.6 engine.

Here is the cross reference from Hollander, not very descriptive although. Hope it helps some.


CROWN VICTORIA 00 (8-280, 4.6L), gasoline (VIN W, Romeo), exc. Police pkg
GRAND MARQUIS 00 (8-280, 4.6L, VIN W)
LINCOLN & TOWN CAR 00 (8-280, 4.6L, VIN W)

Without oil cooler.
|D| fits; difference is oil cooler.
|H| & |J| fit as service replacements; switch oil pan, intake & exhaust manifolds as needed.


CROWN VICTORIA 00 (8-280, 4.6L), gasoline (VIN W, Romeo), Police pkg

With oil cooler.
|C| fits; difference is without oil cooler.
|H| & |J| fit as service replacements; switch oil pan, intake & exhaust manifolds as needed.
