Very Rough Idle and no power

The other day as I was driving home, my sar seemed to bog down for about 4 or 5 sec, it sounded like i had put it into 5th gear at a very low speed, and it stopped, and went back to normal, today, my car runs extremely rough, and barely accelerates, even under full throttle, the engine, and even the steering wheel visibly shake, has anyone else experinced this before? I herd some people say a similar problem, that goes away at higher speed, but with the way the car sounds, and the fact that i doubt it could do over 4okm/h, i have not tested this.

Thanks for your input!

Re: Very Rough Idle and no power

Replace the fuel filter. Massive starvation for fuel. After this put a bottle of fuel injector cleaner in a full tank of gas. The only other thing I can think of is a massive (love that word) vacuum leak like the PCV hose came off the intake plenum.

Re: Very Rough Idle and no power

Fixxed the issue, I had assumed it was the coil, so I went and bought one, when i was uninstalling the old one i noticed that 2 of the wires on the front of it were broken, so after buying and installing a new plug, it worked like brand new!
