1986-old low compression 305
Hey guys. I'm having trouble with a 305. I done a compression check on it today, because the power sucks, and i have 58-62 lbs on all cylinders. What do ya'll think is the problem? rings or cam? I had changed the cam a while back, but had to park it as soon as i done the cam change. So i don't remember what the compression was before the change. any info would help. THanks

Do a leak down test also, there is a tester for this. You can make it yourself too.Do it to every cylinder with the spark plugs out,the engine on TDC.If air comes out the intake or out of the valve cover, intake valves or bad rings.Out of the exhaust, the exhaust valves.
