tranny dipstick Part #22624216

I wonder if anyone can tell me what applications this transmission dipstick part number is for. I purchased this from a GM dealer for a 2001 Cavalier I recently bought for my daughter. I now know this car does not have a dipstick and I don't need it. I will probably take it back to the dealer but I was just curious if anyone on this forum might know what car/transmission it will fit.
He would have sold me a dipstick tube also but he said that it was a discontinued item. Just makes me wonder what year of car it is for. I'm not sure I would believe the guys there if they told me.

Welcome on AF your first post.
A Salvage yard interchange book will answer that.
I would just take it back to them and ask for my money back.
Good Luck
