Best Food Dehydrator?

I know the specs one needs (fan, temp control), but what are the actual models that people have had success using? Also, what kind of $$ have you spent on said dehydrators?

Thanks in advance!

Daniel

Two threads about food dehydrators on the same page, about 7 cm apart!

Hey Chris,

Do you mind telling me (if you remember) where you bought your dehydrator? It's looking like at least $60 for one with a thermostat and a fan...

Sorry Jano. Didn't see 'em. Did a search and, believe it or not, they didn't show up.

Re: Best Food Dehydrator?

Daniel, I got mine at Wal-Mart. Try looking around on ebay and even garage sales, craigslist etc...
I've had mine for about 3 years or so. Not sure if Nesco American Harvest has discontinued this one or not.

I found and bought one at WM's online store and had it shipped to the store for free. The total with tax is $44 and change. Pretty good for one with a thermastat and a fan...

Thanks for all the help! Again, I didn't see the other thread! Dooh!

Daniel
