thunderbird running problems

i have a 94 bird with a v8. the engine is brand new and all is good except when i give the car gas it drops out at around 2700 rpm. i dont get it ive been through everything. help please

Welcome to the forum Dompugs. Do you mean you can't get the engine to run above 2700 rpm while driving it? Have you checked the exhaust to see if it is restricted due to a bad cat or muffler? What is the fuel pressure at the fuel rail. a little more detail about the problem and what you have done may help.
