1986 Town Car Not Firing
I have replaced the ignition coil, Ignition module, electronic pickup, and the ECM computer. But after all that work the town car still refuses to fire. The coil has power that is feed from the ECM and the Module also has power coming from the ECM. Any help will be nice. Thanks

Re: 1986 Town Car Not Firing
Are you getting fuel ? I can't remember if the 86 has the fuel cut off switch in the trunk. I think it does.

Re: 1986 Town Car Not Firing
The cutoff switch has not been triggered but the fuel cutoff switch only cuts off the fuel and not the spark. Already been down that road but thatnks for the help.

Re: 1986 Town Car Not Firing
Right on man. I have seen those dura spark modules (the square box) be bad right off the shelf new. You could also have a ignition wire broke running from that module. Was this car running before, you replaced all this stuff ?
