2002 Sunfire Ecotech Engine

Has anyone had problems with timing belts on these engines? I had one blow at 50K & now at 75K. Also, I've always had moisture in the oil.

They have a timing chain. Moisture generally comes from not driving the vehicle enough/PCV problems. The tensioner assembly for the chain is oil controlled so if the oil is dirty and you don't change the oil properly you will have problems. I'd suggest running some seafoam and hopefully getting it cleaned out.
