Red face How much Lowering is ok?

Hey how much do you think I should lower my car? I am thinking on it soon... I am also thinking of buying a body kit before lowering it so I know how high I want it.. how high should my car be off the ground? once I make this car look really nice I am buying a DOHC VTEC for my baby in May/June. I am KEEPING mine though because my engine has only 76,000 miles on it with NO problems! this car was owned by a priest so I know its in VERY good condition. the car has NO cosmetic problems or ONE SINGLE PROBLEM AT ALL! I just dont know how far I should go with it.. as far as hooking it up..

I would say no more then 2". however if your going to put a body kit on it you should hold off with the lowering and see how much lower the bodykit is to the ground like you said. Today my car is getting installed at the shop the eibcah 1.8" drop (sportline)with KYB AGX adjustable shocks(also thermal catback but were talking about suspension). You may wanna go with like the prokit drop from eibach but agian i dont know how low its going to be with the bodykit on it. what kind of bodykit are you putting on?

lol..dude you should worry about changing your ride to a manual first.
don't lower your car till you put the bodykit on

Lightbulb

My car has recently been lowered to 1.5". Road conditions vary, so it really depends on how low you can actually go, but I would think 1.5" is a good drop without sacrificing much.

I got my car lowered friday with the eibach sportline springs(1.8"), KYB AGX gas shocks and it is truly an awesome ride. The look is nice and aggressive and not too much at all. The ride quality is outstanding i barely notice a difference from stock.
