how do you check it? the lights seemed to be fine but the lcd or what ever kind of screen it is does not tell me the temp. it does work but unable to see anything on it!!!

I believe your talking about the EATC Electronic Air Temperature Control Unit, sounds like maybe the unit is bad. I have one if Mike doesn't. And it works fine. Try checking the wiring harness to the back of the unit to see if they are loose or anything. Let me know what you come up with.

I believe nicks heater control unit has a burned out LED display. See the picture he sent me, it looks as if there are 2 burn marks over to the left side.

Yup, I agree. Its burned out. If it still works and doesn't bother him, just leave it alone.
