[1/43]Rosso Skyline GT-R32 Axia

Hello,

I decided to present this build here, on AF aswell =) Its for a Slovenian online competition, the basic kit being Rosso Nissan Axia 1/43. I plan to do high detail...Hope it comes out that way :P
I already did one rosso, felt in love with the kit and bought this one of ebay btw =)

Sanded

Zero liquid primer filler pwnz :P

Fast putting together to see how things are...
The engine cover comes in white metal with the pipes at the side molded in, but they dont seem good, so i'll use the plastic ones.

Dashboard cutting marked =)

My baby restored!

Scratchbuilding/filing etc.

stock

WIP

Scribed 'panels' into the dashbord the part above the steering wheel... My references tell me that there are switches there, thats why :P

Wheel atachment

Dont know if i will paint them, they look very cool as they are :P

The interior ''beaten up'' :P

Start of interior re-building

Ye it aint exactly like 1:1 but i tried to do the interior as a better version than the kits one ...Dont know, i might still throw those bars out :P

Re: [1/43]Rosso Skyline GT-R32 Axia

Thank you for the five stars, which i think i dont deserve, compared to the other fabulous builds in this section

Anyway, pictures will come later, with masking, applying kit, and removing mask when it was still drying, i got a nice shape of ''raised'' floor there, on the pictures where you can see it was at that time just kited to be even... (found new references). I continued with removing the hood hinges, as ill try to make it as fixing with hood clips as in 1:1.. Dont know how ill do that due to the scale, but i'll figure out something. Atm, im trying to do seat mounts out of some aluminium...
Last thing is i started to do was scratchbuilding a control panel located by the drivers seat, in the center console...

I also remembered that the national modeling contest will be held in three weeks, so i started another kit, this time another 1/43 Rosso Ferrari 643 grade-up maniac. Plans for that one are...hm...CF, CF, CF . Ill post progress soon gotta go study now (damn school!)

Sincerly,
Sebastjan

Please do post up some progress pics - I am very interested in this build. I have Rosso's pre-built R32 Nismo road car, #12 Calsonic Group A racer and R32 Zexel racer. However, as I noted, they were all built from the factory.

I can't wait to see how your little masterpiece turns out!

Re: [1/43]Rosso Skyline GT-R32 Axia

No progress actually due to lack of time Some minor things, like rebuilding the dash and floorpan as my refrence was a bit wrong. Will post some pics tomorrow hopefully.
