Reading Transmission Codes??

I am sure this is a dumb question but my 4T65e trans is doing the shifting hard but it hasn't thrown any code (no service engine light on). If the transmission throws a code will it be read with my ODBII reader?

Yes, after enough cycles most codes will display.
