Has anyone ever put the pedal to the metal in one of these town cars.
What is their top speed?

Exclamation

The top speed that it can hit is around 106-107. After that the rev limiter kicks in and you won't be able to go any faster.

I've done at least three times and the car starts to vibrate and the engine at it's rev limit.

Re: topspeed

Might want to be careful driving down Willow Street at high rates of speeds. (LOL) Cops are getting more serious. Along with the 512 stretch to SR60.

My LTC Gets up there, right around 104 like ltdltc said. How ever, if you put P71 gears in it, you would have a little more. Supposedly, the computer from a 95 P71 Wwill interchange with a 95 LTC. still working on it though myself....

Re: topspeed

Damn I hate rev limiters. I've had my 94 up to 90 mph purely by accident. It ran out so smooth, It wast at 90 before I knew it. I figured I better get tags and insurance on it before I try top ing it out, or driving it any more. I only drove it around to check things out when I first got it, I don't want to be that scary un insured driver. I would like to see what she will do out on the high way.
