`01 SL A/C problem
I think I already know the answer to this question, but wanted to bounce it off people who know more than me. The air stopped working today. I noticed that the clutch doesn't seem to be working (disc on compressor pulley not spinning when a/c is on). I checked the low side pressure, it was at about 100 psi and about 84 degees outside air temp. I have good voltage at the compressor. I assume the clutch is bad. Does this sound right? Thanks for any advice.

Re: `01 SL A/C problem
More than likely. The other thing to check is the switch by the fuse box. I can post a video if needed.

Re: `01 SL A/C problem
That video would be great. I took that switch off and cleaned it, but wasn't sure how to check it. Is that the pressure limit switch? The wire colors didn't match my haynes manual.

Re: `01 SL A/C problem
Do you have power/ground to the clutch? If you do then its bad if you don't than keep looking.

Re: `01 SL A/C problem
I have power at the connector going to the compresser. I don't think I can check the grounds as they are internal to the compressor. Is it possible to change the clutch itself? Or would it be better to just change the compressor? Thanks.
