No lights on 2000 Astro

I have no head/tail/interior/dash lights. As well the power mirror and keyless entry fob do not work. All of the little indicator lights on the dash work and there is no problem with the guages or radio. The 'security' light on the dash is lit up although I am not aware of a security system installed. The fuses have been checked and all are fine. Murphy's law - had to happen on Easter weekend when I am on nights! Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

Re: No lights on 2000 Astro

Your 2000 Astro uses the PassLock system for anti-theft.

The fuses may be intact, but is there power TO the fuses? The underhood electrical center (UEC) can experience failures of the connections between power busses and this is most easily diagnosed by measuring voltage at fuses, not the resistance or continuity through a fuse.

Re: No lights on 2000 Astro

Thank you Blue Bowtie - that's exactly what it was - the wire into the fuse box was so brittle you could break it with your fingers! Thanks again, it's nice to have lights again!
