Ok. My car is not starting. I just changed the battery and everything. I deduced that the problem was the starter relay. But when i got it in still nothing. I can hear it click but nothing happens. I checked the wires that lead to the relay and all of them are good except for one, the y/blk one. the light is really dim and the starter clicks when i thouch it with the test light. I've checked the starter and it seems to be good, but when I turn the key all the way for a little bit the starter starts sparking. I thought that it was grounding out, but it doesnt seem to be. I checked the fuse also and its still good. Please somone help me!!
Thanx |

Re: 97 saturn sl starter problem
bang on the starter with a hammer. Then start the car. I have a feeling your starter is bad. You can remove it and have it bench tested at AZ/AA
