shaky steering wheel after car being dropped

Hello,

My father had recently borrowed my car and got a flat tire. While trying to replace the flat with a donut, the jack slipped out(?..his words) and the car fell onto the ground. The tire was off at this point and the donut was not on, so the rotor/drum (I am not sure what it is called, sorry) was exposed. He did manage to eventually get the donut. I took the car to get the tires replaced and heard a loud grinding/squeaking noise that I haven't heard before. I asked the guy if he could take a look at it and, after finishing, told me something about a dust panel(?) was slightly bent so he straightened it out. However, ever since then, my steering wheel started shaking...more of a rocking left and right. I first thought it may be my alignment, so i took it into another place to get my alignment readjusted. However, the rocking is still there. On a side note, my alignment still seems the same. The car veers to the left as it did before the alignment so I am not sure if they did a shady job. I am not sure what to make of this and was wondering if anyone could help me out in determining what may be the problem. Thank You.

you say rotor/drum, rotor=front, drums=rear(exceptions to those w/ rotors in the rear). assuming the flat was in the front, since the problem is in the front. does it do this at higher speeds? the faster u go the faster it shifts? sure its not a wheel off balance? maybe something got bent. check ur brakes. the rotor would have took the most damage, also while ur down there check ur ball joints and tierod ends. grab the wheel or rotor w/ your hands,@ 9 and 3, and shake. is there play? then grab the wheel or rotor at 12 and 6, is there play there? make sure every things tight down there.

Ill bet you bent the rotor causing a slight drag in that brake (im guessing its the front left) which would make the car pull..
