2000 venture trans slips, trac light , brake light comes on
I just rebuilt the transmission it work fine till today was going down freeway with cruise on then it just started slipping and the traction control light and brake light came on , back off on throttle and the lights go out and it drives fine, but then any slight throttle accell the 2 lights come on and the trans slips, it has all new solenoids in the trans plus the shift kit upgrades, master overhaul kit etc ,new hardened fourth gear shaft new oil pump drive shaft etc.

It may not be the trans slipping at all. It sounds to me like it is going into traction control mode. You may want to check all of your ABS sensors for proper operation. You could also remove the ABS fuse to test whether it is the traction control system or the transmission.

Be sure to check brake fluid level, keep it near the top. The brake fluid level sensor has been known to act up, causing the brake light and ABS light to come on if the fluid isn't extra full.
