Mach Audiophile RCU XF1F-18C851-CA

Mach Audiophile RCU XF1F-18C851-CA
I have a 2002 sedan that the radio quit working. I changed out the controller in dash which did nothing. I removed the Mach Audiophile RCU in from the trunk (Ford Part # XF1F-18C851-CA). After a few days I put the RCU back and the radio work for a while. Does this unit have something on a board that has failed? Is it possible to get it repaired or do I need to find a repleacement? Any help would be apprechiated.
