Look for a bad ground or any connection to start with, also the battery itself of course, then look at the fusible links at the starter harness.

replaced ignition switch and starter and still no luck....The interior lights come on when i open the door n i know the battery is good.....could it be a fuse somewhere other than on the fuse block under the dash that's blown???

Yes, maxwedge is probably right, you should have some fusible links under the hood. Some of the newer ones are in a fusible link box and they are little squares with clear lids on them, you can look down the lid on each one to see if they are blown. Older cars have about a foot long wire with a little plug looking thing in the middle, I'm not good at describing maybe the other guy can describe it better. There are several ways to check those, you can either check for continouity from one side to the other with an ohm's meter or you can use a test light, and put the clip on a ground somewhere, and check the side of the link past the battery, if it doesn't light on that side but does the other it's bad.
