Hey, I have a question in regards to my 2006 Malibu Maxx LT. I was pulled over last night for not using my turn signal, when I thought I had. I flipped the left turn signal on for him and it turns out that the turn signal filament in the left rear light is out (brake lights still come on). Well, I bought the new replacements and noticed the two screws that clearly needed to be removed, but it still wouldn't come out. I went to get my manual and realized that I left it at my brother's house this past weekend (we were looking something up that he was curious about), so I don't have anything to go on. Someone that had stopped by to drop something off said there is usually a wing nut that needs to be removed and to try peeling back the 'trim' to get at it.
Well, I wasn't really sure exactly where it was, or if that was the case, so I left it because I didn't want to guess wrong and break something. Does anyone know if this is the case? If there is some wing nut that needs to be removed so I can pull it out, what do I need to remove to get at it? Sorry if this seems easy to you guys, I just haven't replaced any of the tail lights on it before and decided to be cautious about it. I won't be able to get my manual back until Saturday, and I planned on getting the alignment checked on Friday, so I could always just have them replace it for me too :P. Thanks for your help!
