92 state truck
i just bought a 92 blazer with the 4.3 tbi it was a dnr truck so i know it was mantained well its got 160,000miles on it my problem is that when i fire it up its loader than hell it idles quiet and drives quiet its just when start the ting ive own alot a vehicals and but none like this i was woundering if i got a problem brewing or if thats just something to live with

it starts fine its just louder than ive ever had and i go thru alot of vehicals

When does it get loud? Where is the loud noise coming from? Can describe this loud noise? Does it happen after the truck warms up a bit? Or does it only occur when putting a load on the motor? Does the noise happen with just the engine running or does it need to be in motion in Drive or Reverse?
Have you personally checked if the fluid levels are correct in the engine (coolant and oil), transmission and axles? Does the noise only occur at highway speeds such as a creek/whistle/wine/rattle or thump that all trucks seem to get after that many miles?
