200 Cougar will not rev past 4500 rpm

working on a 200 cougar, 2.5 auto with 113k miles on it. I have 110-125 lbs comp. new plugs, all firing.Installed new MAF, it Idles is rough and wants to stall when it falls below 1000 rpm. It sounds good and revs normally between 1000 and 4500 rpm, then it stumbles like hitting a rev limiter. Sounds to me like timing stops advancing. I have looked but cannot locate MAP sensor to check vacum line to it. Error codes shown are PO102 and PO113, but I find it hard to believe air temperature sensor is causing this problem. Anyone have a clue where to go from here?

Just want to make sure but when you say rev, your talking while the car is driving and not with the transaxle is in neutral correct?
