Question heater motor removal

i have a1989 mercury topaz, and am having trouble removing the heater blower motor. the problem is the bar that the glove box attaches to.can somebody please help with an answer.??: confused:

Try removing the bar if you can't go to a parts store and look at a Haynes manual. Follow directions and it should come off. You can also remove the fan which should give you more room.
